It's crazy, Giménez has been such a pleasant surprise to start the season (with another RBI double to start the scoring today), he is already a half-win player.

If he can keep this up (BIG IF), this trade might go down as a top 5 Jays trade of all time

I'm not sure weacknowledged how weird it was that so many jays absolutely imploded at the plate last year and we couldn't string together good at bats pretty much at all.

we're already had more quality offensive innings then we made in the first month last year. maybe the first two.

Very professional win/sweep of a team you kinda have to sweep. Getting a W in a Lucas/Gore matchup is really nice, especially in a weekday afternoon game where you have the reserves in ( big ups to Heinemann and Straw)

It's nice they they are off to a great start with Vlad/Tony starting slow, which can happen. Im happy for Springer, who while im not ready to call vintage George, he at minimum appears to not be a disaster ( which was a real fear). I dont think Gimenez is this, but i do buy that Popkins ( maybe actually awesome) has found something in his swing to turn him into at least some form of an asset with the bat, and depending on how big an asset puts Andres in the range of All Star to gets MVP votes. His D is that good.

I know they dont have to, its baseball, 162 games, but this start they have is rough, getting a win like this with an emergency SP vs Gore is huge, but as interesting as the Nats are, you're at home vs an inferior team
