They have to be able to score more than 2 goals a game. Especially with this goaltending.

They're not going to sit Burns, streak and all. Orlov has been pretty mediocre. Walker isn't winning any awards.

I thought Orlov actually had a very good game last night - and I've been a pretty harsh critic of him during the regular season. However, we were anemic during the1st period and OTs - and need to amp up our offensive firepower. But the depleted Devils played a great game and clearly took control during the OTs. Hopefully, we'll do better.

1.) Orlov looked good last night.
2.) Jarvis plays hockey like a terrier with a bone— tenacious, doesn’t let size (his or the next guy’s) get in the way and always plays hard and has nice hands
3.) Andersen has been terrific and given his fragility, the boys have to make the most of his health and focus
4.) Cannot let the idea of road versus home games take up brain space— just get it done
5.) Pesce was a beast last night for NJ and it made me miss him. Not missing Dougie, though. Our guys need to be physical with him and get him out of the game— that’s a player that hates a hit.

As a point of reference, road teams are 6-17 so far in the playoffs.

my reference is that the Canes struggle on the road in the playoffs and were a better home team this season
