Honestly nah. They've proven it. I don't expect some crazy genius trade out of Tre if Marner leaves. If he goes, and we don't get two of these three Florida guys, I don't think we're going to be better than this year. And with Marner gone, and us underperforming after, the whole thing will unravel.
 
What happened to the extreme aggressive pk of Florida that they had against us?

They're letting these guys skate around and take time and space.

Have to take away passing angles and make him a shooter. If you have to give up the pass, don't give up the cross ice, and give him the point one timer setup and live with the Bouchard opportunities.

I'm sure that's the plan...but McD dangling makes all the killers nervous and forget their structure

McD made Selke Barkov look like a pee wee player on that Drai PP goal
 
He pantsed them all on that play, but they still can't just concede ice to him. They're letting him come within 15 feet of the net, with passing options. Kid in a candy store.
