They're not going to be able to replace three main guys if they all leave.

In his past two playoff runs, the 14 goals & 74 points McDavid’s put up (in 45 games) is more than Marner has scored in his entire playoff career (13 goals & 63 points in 70 games).

The six playoff rounds McDavid’s team has won in the last two seasons is also three times as many as Mitch has won in his entire nine year career.

Even the insinuation that they’re comparable situations is embarrassing.

Almost as embarrassing as the fact that the Leafs have been paying Mitch only $1.6M less per season than McDavid for the past six years.
