Yes, but let's not pretend that the one isn't hilariously worse than the other. Panarins gpg goes down a bit in the playoffs (82 game pace of 33 down to 24) , Mitch's almost cuts in half from 28 to 15.

But again, and kind of importantly...2 series closing goals, other big goals that have helped a much worse team get further than we've ever been twice over the last few years.

He was obviously far more impactful to Ottawa than Marner is for the leafs, don't be revisionist homers. I would argue that there aren't many players in the league that were as dominant as this player at that point in his career, so it's more about that than Marner being shit. He was absurdly good.
