Could even go hutson and Reinbacher as the sheltered pair from day one and slowly increase the difficulty.

PK concerns me - Dvorak & Armia played a key role, not sure Newhook has what it takes - wouldn't shock me if there’s a low key vet 4th liner signed / acquired to help fill PK gap

While he hasn't been particularly consistent.. I do feel his game has gotten better each year even though his numbers haven't stepped up dramatically.

Seems to me Newhook would be a fantastic penalty killer.

Yeah, I guess it just feels like he doesn't fit into this group of hard workers. He's a bit of a flake. If the players like him then there's no harm in keeping him for the year. Maybe he's gets motivated and has a good year.

Contract year Laine could be interesting. Also we can't forget that he was not 100% last year, played without a center and still found ways to produce 20 goals in 52 games.
