OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

The team's got a good cushion, we can afford a tough stretch. Yankees are free fallin', Boston is the in-division challenger right now to worry about. Hopefully Bieber will give some boost, and Gimenez/Springer can come back and make us forget that Buddy Kennedy ever existed, and just give a little more depth to the roster.

At this point, the Jays playoff odds are at like 98%, the first step is to keep hold of the division title. Second priority is staying ahead of one of the other division winners, so you skip the WC round.

Can’t just enjoy the ride eh?

Hey, just when I started thinking they might actually be really good again they followed it up with a 6-8, -4 run diff stretch with Jays believers inventing bullshit like strikeout differential to justify the record.

So yeah, I hope they can hang onto 1st and hope that they're not just a slightly different flavour of the 88-90 win bland shit Shatkins' ceiling has been over the last 10 years, but I don't believe that they are.

To answer your question a bit more succinctly, I wasn't enjoying it to begin with but it did get me paying the team more attention and watching them live more than I have since 2016.
