Yeah, Ioan Grillo's substack today was about this. Looks like El Cuini is the big name going to the US. El Cuini was about as close to the #2 as CJNG had at the time of his arrest (the #1, El Mencho is rumoured to be dead....also rumoured to be alive fwiw. Don't believe all of the rumours you hear, only half of them. Which half? Yes.)
If you were of the mind to map out CJNG's money, El Cuini would be the guy you'd be wanting to speak with.

Totally missed at first that it was British police doing this IN THE UK on behalf of a vacationing JD Vance.
Just how spineless are the UK authorities & government that they’re allowing this and going along with it?
The Canadian equivalent would be Vance staying at a local benefactor’s cottage in Muskoka, and Canadian police rolling around door-to-door in the surrounding area to root out anyone who’s been anything less than a fawning Trump fanboy on social media.
This also begs the question—if UK police did identify local residents who’ve said mean things about Trump or Vance on social media, what next? Arrest them? Eject them from their homes & ban them from the area for the duration of JD’s vacation?
