2026 NHL UFA/Trade Thread

Yep. It keeps 3rd line talent down on the third line where they belong. This would be a fairly effective addition, I think. McCann is a good player.

Only concern might be D zone face offs, but that’s already an issue for the 2nd line.

that new 70% number which just popped up also shows that most happen within the first year of retirement, likely because now they are together all the time, he is angry for a lost career etc. It is a major adjustment.

Blackhawks just signed Nazar to a stupid deal. They also just drafted Frondell.

Davidson is a dummy he is about to do something dumb like use Sasha Boisvert to make the NHL roster better (too many centres in his eyes).

Hope we get in on that action.

Hawks have done a brutal job of drafting and developing after missing the playoffs 8 straight years , not counting the Covid year

Terrible asset management
