Blackhawks just signed Nazar to a stupid deal. They also just drafted Frondell.

Davidson is a dummy he is about to do something dumb like use Sasha Boisvert to make the NHL roster better (too many centres in his eyes).

Hope we get in on that action.

It’s so hard to find players like him - which is likely he was was drafted a bit high for his skill level. Why would you then trade him at age 22, when he’s starting to develop as an an NHL player?

But we both know that's not how he (or most "good Canadian boys" are wired. Ergo, he's going to re-sign with the Oilers.

People always say "Well, if Gretzky could be traded, anyone can", which is technically true but remember that Gretzky isnt the one who instigated his trade out of Edmonton. He was traded because the team owner was strapped for cash after a protracted labor dispute at the meat packing plant he owned. And back then, there was no such thing as no movement clauses.

Today, McDavid or any other elite player with a NMC only moves if HE wants to go.
