So true. Both teams are setup to be pretty good for a few years. Get Drake an offensive line and another year or 2 of experience and they’ll be fine. I really like Seattle’s defense. I always thought NE was a year or 2 away but their young core sets them up for a nice run. The schedule gods (and some timely clutch play) got them there a year early. He’s been nursing a shoulder injury for weeks. Likely to have surgery this offseason

Two rookies on his blind side but the entire line got collapsed at times.

Yea. Their rookie left tackle is going to be good but he was also injured the last half of the year. He also tends to get beat by higher end athletic DE’s. Slow footwork. Vrabel will rebuild that line. I’m not a NE fan but I am a Maye fan regardless of where he played. He’s a great kid and his dad is great. Not a big fan of Luke…. He’s ok, but nowhere near as personable and humble as Drake and Cole ….. who won a baseball NC at Florida.

They got ahead of schedule and it exposed some inexperience … including their QB, but most noticeably on the o-line. It happens. Not sure how the Pats are structured but the Commanders took a step back when the younger part of their roster didn’t mature as fast as the older part declined after they over-performed last year, so that’s one thing to watch. That slide was compounded by injury, so don’t take the comparison as a suggestion that the Pats are going to bomb next season … just that the growth curve ain’t always a smooth one. Maye should have a terrific pro career (as should Jaylen Daniels, for that matter). People that are writing him off after a Super Bowl loss to that freaking defense are being less than serious.

The back 7 wasn’t chopped liver either. They got after it as an 11 man unit in a truly impressive display of modern defense.

I don’t need to jinx anything. they were their without their 2 best players…..They should’ve beat them by 20. They could’ve beat them with them both in the lineup and they should have and did beat them with them out them. Pretty simple math.

Yes, but we’re talking about NC State playing UNC. The opponent alone is enough for State to cough up at least 10 points.

Meh. This is a much better nc state team than in years past. They show some inconsistency with a a new coach and system but he’s built a pretty good team.
 
I didn't hope for much, but that was an appallingly bad display of three point shooting. A mediocre percentage would have at least made the game interesting. And it's not like the threes were being pressured. Just terrible.
 
The Bears not being in Chicago is a joke. But also the gabilllionaires that own these teams should also get out their debit card and pay more for these high tech buildings they want and not rely on the taxpayers to foot the bill. Yes, the citizens benefit from the team being there, but they also buy tickets and merchandise to help foot the bill. The rich pricks can pay for their own new building or at least most of it

It's really no different than Santa Clara, CA, Orchard Park, NY, East Rutherford, NJ, Arlington TX, Landover, MD, and Paradise, NV.

This … although being in a different State is weird. That’s driving a lot of the reactions I think. There’d be less hoohaw if it was Wheaton or Skokie or whatever.
