Damn Mitchell didn't want it this game. People were laughing at Ingram ineptitude but Mitchell arguably had a worse game. To me he wasn't being aggressive enough. Toronto unfortunately doesn't have anyone on the floor that can guard him. He needs to be strong with the Ball and go through defenders, drive the ball to the rim and get the raps into foul trouble.

Celtics dad dicking Philly.
Embiid return proves to be a flop tonight

I have noticed that their offense look more faster, dynamic and aggressive without Embiid than with him. When he is in the lineup, the sixers are slower, more passive and there is less transition/ breakout game, Ball movement and floor stretching/spacing ironically. Maxey seems More deferential to Embiid too. An Offensive system built around Embiid cant wotk because the current Roster doesnt fit attentive and weakness and lets face him, hes not the future of the sixers anymore. His time has passes, Philly has moved on and will give the Keys to Maxey, VJ edgecombe and a future big/powerforward who will be more mobile, clutch and healthier.

With Embiid back their offensive rebounding/ post game /interior defense/rim attack and protection should be better on paper but hes not that energetic, efficient in scoring areas, mobile or aggressive anymore , i guess he is Afraid of being injured again, So hes not taking further risks physically

Last Time the celtics lost to Philly was back in the 1982 ECF. Since then they have always beat the sixers in the playoffs.1985, 2002, 2012, 2018, 2020, 2023, and now 2026. 7 straight playoff series wins over Philly.

Celts are to the sixers What the bruins are to the Leafs. Their eternal playoff boogeyman/nemesis that they can never beat no matter the era

Ultimately, most teams just take on the personality of their best player/ face of the team. An Embiid led team willl play just like him and the rest of the team Will follow and adopt his behavior subconsciously. Its Time to tell the truth : Embiid seems to be a good guy off the court but hes a underachiever/choker on the court, when it matters the most. I know he had so much bad luck with injuries over the years in his entire career, but the breh just doesnt have the playoff gamer mentality. He just doesnt have it. So far the Embiid era in Philly is synonymous with frustration, disappointment, underachievement, and wasted potential. The process officially failed, we cant trust it anymore.

The difference in game 1&2 was skill, depth and talent. Cleveland showed everything the Raptors lack.

The difference in game 3&4 was grit, intensity and defense. Toronto showed everything the Cavs lack.
