That should be the concern for sure, the league thinks that Flyers display in the last seven minutes is playoff hockey…they wear it like a badge of honor. It’s gross and about 2/3 of it goes uncalled.

They need to call every single crosscheck or punch that happens AFTER a whistle or behind the play.

The first draft of him was so far off that I ended up pasting in his headshot from ESPN, so that’s probably why he’s closer to real. I was honestly surprised it didn’t freak out about pictures of real people at that point.

24 minor penalties and one 10 minute misconduct (Koneckny, of course). That just screams refs lost control.

Great win against a desperate (and unhinged) team. Once again, the officiating was beyond awful. I don't know what possesses these refs to give matching penalties (or ignore cross-checks after the play stops) when the losing team is lashing out like a bunch of frustrated crybabies. But we got some boys on the scoreboard who needed to score, and we didn't get flustered by the Flyer antics. Now finish the job on Saturday!

For you folks that have played the game; the number of sticks getting up high is crazy to me. Has it always existed and we’re just more aware now? Granted many of them aren’t egregious but the vast majority do involve some level of contact and it seems like they happen regularly.
