At first glance assumed that the Knights were just not willing to create any unnecessary noise during their playoff run (sending their coach to a divisional rival), but now I wonder if they are just hoping that a team will come to them with some additional compensation? The draft capital cupboard is extremely bare, and might be another 2nd rounder short on draft day.

Why couldn't the Sabres challenge on that kick? It definitely had a motion, not sure how distinct, but that looked pretty sketch to me.

It's so subjective... that's just enough that it's going to look like what you want it to look like.
They were wrong. You can challenge. I assume they meant that he "couldn't" afford to challenge and risk the penalty.
