The funny bit is that this isn't what happened at all. Babcock started Marner and Tavares together (he stubbornly refused to play Marner and Matthews together) but Mitch + JT were sucking dick (49% xG, 33% gf) and it forced his hand into doing what he didn't want to do.

But Paul would have to give credit to Auston for turning Mitch's season around, and well, yeah.
