If we're over, how is Detroit not over? They have over 70 million in cap holds?

The NBA salary cap is byzantine, so sure that could be it, but salaryswish has Detroit at 60 million over the cap.

They moved Stewart at the draft and got a huge trade exception I believe.

The cap mechanics, I vaguely understand, but the Raps are pretty handcuffed unless they trade dollar for dollar.

A quick rumours roundup for funsies

- Yeah, the Kawhi thing appears alive. Grange claims we have no interest in it, but if I had a dollar for every time Grange was wrong....
- Ja Morant is "flagrantly available". But the rumour is that he still has negative value and will require something going with him as a sweetener
- There were multiple max offers out there for Trey Young, which forced Washington to go higher than they wanted to. Front offices are starting to wrap their heads around the no tanking era pretty quickly.
- Rose has asked Dolan to go into the 2nd apron and Dolan refuses to.
- Duren isn't happy with the Pistons offer and is looking at sign & trade options.
- Minnesota checked on Jaylen Brown before making the Ball trade and the ask was Rudy, Reid, and 3 1sts.
- Brown for Duren in a S&T is allegedly being discussed
- Nets and Lakers are looking to sign Mitchell Robinson

Front office should slow roll this for a few weeks tbh. I don't think the Clippers want him back, and I don't think the price gets anything but cheaper the more they look stuck with him next year. If they're not interested in extending him, Kawhi is going to get cranky in a hurry about playing out the last year of his contract there. The "leverage" he's exerting here is on them, not us imo. He wants to stay in LA, but he wants guaranteed money for it.
