Dude came back about six years too late, but better late than never I suppose.

Honestly, the best part of all this is that after all the tampering, cheating, shit-talking, corruption and historic number of assets traded away, the Kawhi Leonard era ended up being a big fat nothing for the Clippers. Eat it Ballmer!

Even with the outsized role he played in winning us our only championship, I don’t think you could retire his number based on one season where he chose to bounce afterwards.

Now though, I think they’re pretty clear to do so whenever he’s done.

Yeah, I’m not discounting the chances that they’ll make another deep run in the Kawhi 2.0 era.

Just saying that even just the fact he came back at all and is going to spend another couple of seasons as a Raptor is enough, when added to 2019, to hang a banner for him when he’s done.
