Kawhi has 1 year left on his contract.

For the Raps to sign him next summer, they would have to be under the cap for what his new contract would be.

The Clippers could have kept him or traded him to a team Kawhi wasn't going to resign with.

Late 1RPs are goodish?

Compare this to what the Rockets gave up for KD not that long ago bud.

- Dillon Brooks
- 10th overall pick
- 5 2nd round picks

We did way better imo.
