At least he's not claiming that production will start "next year" as is tradition. Instead he's claiming a much more rational timeline of 3 yrs to do what takes actual professionals in the industry 10-12 years to do.
Because the chip manufacturers don't believe this is real demand, so as serious businesses that actually have to sell things to make money, they're not willing to risk their money to expand out into production that will be left stranded in 5 years.

Solid state is going to change everything in green tech. The economics are already slightly in favour of electric powered cars, home solar, etc. These things hitting scale is going to blow the doors off of the economics and make ICE vehicles way more expensive to own and operate than electric, make home battery kits outs for solar pay off way faster.
There is a big ass community of geo guessers and yeah, they're wild. The best ones would have taken about 10 minutes to find that. Those guys know all sorts of weird shit about public signage and civil design around the world.
