Tech Thread

So, I don't know how serious you all take your data privacy, but if you're not running at minimum a Firefox build with the Ublock Origins plugin, now would be a good time to start. If you're on Chrome, (or lol, Edge) get off of it. Hardened Firefox + Ublock is better, but just a bog ass standard firefox build with a few of the privacy boxes checked and ublock is the low effort supreme setup for data protection and ad blocking.

If you're running that setup, it doesn't matter if you've opted in our out to any specific data trackers. They simply can't track your browsing information (for the most part) unless it's something specific that you've logged into one of their services to access.
I use Brave. Thoughts?

Built using Chromium, not horrible but not outstanding either. Where it would be a nonstarter for me personally is that it doesn't support ublock, which is the best everything blocker on the market imo. With that said, just do a google or youtube dive on how to harden it to the best of it's ability and that's probably fine enough.
