Good. He's another guy that needs to be playing more challenging competition. I hope he sticks with the big club or gets a loan to somebody else in the big boy league.

OK, I found a story about Cade Webber. He sustained a lower body injury on November 9 and had an MRI on November 12. Another article in the Penticton paper said he’s out until after the Christmas break.

Shuswap showdown for Interior lead
With first place in the Interior Division on the line, the Penticton Vees and Salmon Arm Silverbacks open a home-and-home series Wednesday night at Shaw Centre in Salmon Arm.
Patrik Puistola took a massive hit to the head.

I've seen Drury in parts of two games now, and his main contribution other than winning a stupid amount of faceoffs is making Cole Caulfield uncomfortable with his complete lack of creativity. Seriously. This is exactly what I worried about when we drafted a Drury. His game is high level in every way other than the things that actually put the puck in the net. He's the kind of guy that some NHL team will over slot, over value and over pay for a freaking decade.
Oh, and whoever is coaching this US team is an idiot. Keeping Caulfield nailed to Drury is one thing, but stapling Trevor Zegras to the bench when all he's doing is providing half your freaking offense is just moronic. Just checked and the coach is Scott Sandelin, the longtime coach at Minnesota Duluth. Goes to show that winning in college and having half a clue what to do with guys who have high end talent don't always go together. Hockey is weird that way. A huge percentage of the neanderthals who coach the game at the highest levels are really more comfortable with players who don't have high end skill. It's nuts.

Germany beat the Czech Republic today. Bokk had 2 goals and has 3g, 2a in 2 games. Finland beat Slovakia 8-1. Puistola has a goal and. Ow has 2g, 2a. Kilinen got on the board with his first assist of the tournament. Honka was held off the scoresheet and has 1 assist.
I did notice Bokk a bit in that US/Germany game. He's got stupid good hands, but I'm not so sure about the athleticism or the body. He's bloomin' skinny ... more than Necas was a couple of years ago when I thought he might get squashed like a bug. Hopefully he matures physically, because the kid has game for days in the offensive zone.
