You guys are supposed to be hockey mentality guys, don’t miss a shift, get the hell back out there and suck it up!!!Same. My arm is sore, but nothing worth writing home about.
Eyes on the prize is right, take a look at Europe and see what's going on over there. I'm damn happy to wait 45 minutes for my vaccine in Walgreens. If you guys are going to more rural Wallgreens locations for shots ... a word of advice. Get there VERY early and pack your patience. The issue seems to be largely with their computer systems, but they aren't all as well organized as you'd like either. Still. Eyes on the prize people. If it's a bit annoying, so what? Get those shots and let's get on the road to something like normal.
MustThe best part you guys have coming is about a week after #2, you'll be walking on sunshine. It's amazing how the stress level goes down.
Schneikes. The worst I ever experienced was in San Francisco in July, 1984. It was the weekend of the Democratic National Convention and I'm convinced we got the last rental car at the airport. A late model Ford Tempo, probably cost us about $100, my company almost made me eat it (It was a weekend trip, not where I was working). We had to turn off the A/C to climb some of the hills. It got us up to Napa and back but it was dicey.rental car rates are way high now

$300 a day for a Kia Rio. Why rental cars prices have gone insane
Here's what you need to know if you're planning on a spring break trip to Orlando next week: Renting a car — if you can find one — could cost you at least $300 a day. That's possibly more than you'll spend for air fare, hotel rooms or tickets to theme parks.www.cnn.com
Dude ... I've got a near mirror image experience. I was in New Orleans during the 88 Republican Convention (I was in town for something else), and while the city itself shrugs off such events easily, the rental car companies didn't move in enough inventory from Houston. Having reserved a reasonable midsized sedan, I ended up in this horrid little base model Toyota Tercel that I'm fairly sure was made of recycled Coke cans and was "powered" by a glorified lawn mower engine. Driving in New Orleans is a full contact sport and I was out there like a mouse trying to cross a river in a newspaper boat. The upside? Hertz auto-upgraded me for 2 solid years after that. And that was back when I was traveling for business a LOT.Schneikes. The worst I ever experienced was in San Francisco in July, 1984. Hey now, I had a Toyota Tercel base model of that era with no radio and a manual transmission. It was my daily commuter for 6-7 years.Dude ... I've got a near mirror image experience.
