Don’t forget the TBay / Isles series is in the same time zone, Habs need to travel either to PST (Vegas) or altitude + MT (Colorado).

Extra day buys Habs time to adjust, usually need 48-hrs to get the body accustomed to the time difference / altitude.

This schedule is beneficial to Habs, since the winning team VGK / Avs don’t need to worry about adjusting

Watching this series. We’re completely toast if we face Vegas. Bigger, faster, deeper team. Heavy with lots of size and great goaltending as well. Screwed. Avs at least a chance to shut down that top line and break them down and Grubauer is iffy.

VGK have had zero thrust up the middle, their Cs create nothing. I agree they would make a formidable opponent but they have weaknesses. Their goals have been gifts from Girard turnovers / Grubauer
