Which players are most deserving of winning the Stanley Cup?
Using a proprietary formula, we've determined the most worthy contenders this postseason, led by Brent Burns.
What’s worse, the playoff versions of Dougie Hamilton or Connor Hellebuyck?Winnipeg sure ain't winning tonight, so I guess Monday it is. Lord have mercy, the Hurricanes are going to get killed 12-0 in that game.
Does it get us Andersen back?I like the break, but that was too long a break. Sheesh.
Why? Washington has exactly one less day off and it's not like a longer break favors either side in any specific way. I think it's more accurate to say that Game 1 will be a bit clunky with both sides having accumulated a fair amount of rust. The first team to find their legs probably gets a gift in that one. No reason that can't be the Canes.the Hurricanes are going to get killed 12-0 in that game.
He's basically already back and fully participating in practices with no restrictions.Does it get us Andersen back?
I heard rumblings that they might tear down the stage after the first concert and then set it all back up after the Canes play Monday the 12th. The bigger question is, are the Canes not the primary tenant this time of year with the playoffs not really a foregone conclusion with this team??? Who the hell is blocking out the building for that many dates for concerts when you know you have a decent playoff bound hockey team the first few weeks of May? Just seems like poor planning when you have a playoff type club as opposed to a bottom feeder that is bounced in early April…Lenovo Center booked Fri May 9 and Sun May 11 thru Tue May 13 (two Pearl Jam concerts Sun and Tue).
So does the league do May 6, May 8, May 10 and then May 14? Its a big deal to tear down the concert set and have to rebuild it to allow for a Mon May 12 game.
