Bennett is a scumbag with a history of unpunished dirty hits. He took out Matthew Knies 2 years ago and Marchand last year. Whether the hit caused the concussion or exacerbated it, it was a hit to the head that should have been penalized. And for Parros and Campbell to overlook it, given his history, is ridiculous.

It is simply mind boggling that some guys seem to get a free pass time and again from this garage league yet others get fined and suspended for such lesser offenses. The league did more to Ottawa for shooting a puck in warmups towards the Leafs end then an intentional blow to head by Bennett that knocks a goalie senseless...now just chew on that fact for a moment and try to make sense of Bettman's world...

And I know some of you in here our big fans of MO but that guy has turned into just as big of a dirtbag with his teams antics since he took that Florida job as Bennett. The comedy act with the media, the gosh, darn, golly gee garbage he spouts after these types of dirty hits is pure trash. Tkachuk last night at the buzzer intentionally sticks out his knee to get Marner when the game is over then chops his calf and again not a single anything...most of that stuff is all MO driven at the end of the day.

I prefer a plural mascot, but otherwise ... nice. Yeti would have been better, but this is a decent fallback and I still like the color scheme. They really need to work on security though, since this got leaked like the London Beer Flood of 1814

We haven't touched on it, but Edmonton came roaring back in a game they started out like roadkill ... again. They honestly didn't even look like a playoff team in the first period. I was legitimately surprised to see they had come back to win when I checked the scores this morning.

I’m not watching, I can only judge by the replay. That’s one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen in any sport at any level in my life.

Honestly, watching it live I thought Rodrigues made a meal out of that. Looking at the replay it's FAR more obvious that he got squashed into the glass. Live, not so much because of the way he spun away from the wall. It's a bad, bad call but I kind of get it depending on the ref's vantage point.

As for Florida ... welcome to Carolina's shoes from the Eastern Finals in 2023. They have played one bad period but otherwise there's next to nothing between those two teams and yet they go home trailing 2-0. It happens. My advice - get that power play untracked and get a W in Game 3 otherwise you could be looking a sweep that doesn't feel like a sweep.

BTW, freaking Rantanen popped off for another hattie in Game 1 in Winnipeg. Annoying, but that IS why you take a big swing on guys with that level of talent.
