2024-25 NHL Misc. Thread

Jeez Seattle. Take a new headshot before you put a guy's pic on your website wearing another team's jersey. Hell of an off season they're having. So far the highlight (by MILES) is their mascot being chased by bears.
 
So ... DeBrincat and a bunch of spare parts. Got it. To be fair, Hamonic was a decent player ... 5 years ago ... and Talbot has been a backup for like 7 or 8 years. Still, not exactly the tree you'd like to be picking from.

See. When you tell somebody to model their roster build after a specific team, you need to be era specific. This IS a popular strategy though. Buffalo has been in the same loop for the past three years.

It’s the 5th name for that arena, we’re only in the 4th. The Flyers just picked up the 5th name on their arena, now Xfinity Mobile Arena. The Panthers arena is on its 6th name. There is only 1 NHL arena without corporate sponsorship, Madison Square Garden, but it‘s the 4th arena to bear that name. The first 2 were located on Madison Square, at 26th St. and Madison Ave.
