Did you miss the post that my comment was in direct response to (that I also quoted) where one of Twitter’s rumour mongers (David Pagnotta) is claiming Jarnkrok “wouldn’t object to a trade given the circumstances”?

To spell it out plainly enough for you to understand: I’d love for that to be true, because I want Jarnkrok gone. But I question Pagnotta’s claim, because Jarnkrok has never given any public indication he’s unhappy, and the Leaf coaching staff (both past & present) have consistently made him a mainstay in their lineups.

Roy and Minestrone should(?) be the start of a decent 3rd line. wouldn't it be nice to have useful bottom 6 lines? how long has it been now?

if Treliving is any kind of GM at all he'll realize it's a lot easier and cheaper to do that than it is to replace Bitch Whiner's 100 pts with an "average 1st liner" -- whoever the hell that is supposed to be. First of all do they even have the assets to land a top line player now? I think it's up for debate. If I'm an opposing GM, I'm pretty sure I'm not giving the Leafs that kind of player for a deal centering on Easton Cowan at this stage.

Think I’m on board if the Pens eat 50%. He’s a career 6.7% shooter that shot well below that as a Pen. He would replace Marner as PP1 qb, and replace his playoff goals.

And He is still one of the best skaters in the league. 98th percentile in top speed and bursts over 20 mph last year.

He adds a dimension our D doesn’t have in 10-15 goal scorer, elite skater with the puck and elite playmaker.
