Come on league, release that schedule!
Honesty sometimes gets you nowhere any longer in todays NHL when you are an old school coach that tells it like it is. I know this board is filled with many with several decades of years on the tires...but I must admit some of my best work ethic and life lessons in sports and life came from Bowness-like dressed downs from old bosses and coaches in my younger days. Keenan, Torts, Bowness...those types are rare anymore.A Tortorella-worthy rant... 10/10

I doubt they will until the last regular season games are played tomorrow night.Come on league, release that schedule!![]()
You are correct, but aaaaargh!I doubt they will until the last regular season games are played tomorrow night.
THAT’s when he should have given that presser, for my money. But I get why he held back. And in those 2 games, their playoff hopes were very much alive. But they were outscored 10-3 (including an empty netter) and outhit 42-36.
If I recall correctly he kinda did call them out around that time. It was discussed maybe during one of those games. Some of the same comments, and even maybe comparing his team’s effort unfavorably to the Canes, while they were desperately trying to make the playoffs and the Canes were a lock and playing for seeding.THAT’s when he should have given that presser, for my money. But I get why he held back.
