Max Truman of Dans Les Coulisses was saying Habs brass in Mtl last week were discussing signing UFA Boeser, who apparently wants to remain in Canada to play in a CDN market

Or Stars find a way of resigning him, then look at trading Robertson who’s apparently asking for $10M+ on his new deal

Either way the acquisition cost of Matheson & Anderson, given the dearth of UFAs (quality + quantity) has skyrocketed IMO

Howard acquisition + Scorey Perry signing would make for a good July 1st present..

It creates a complicated situation. If Howard can’t figure out a contract, then the ideal teams won’t want to even consider a trade with the Lightning. They would be making a trade simply to put themselves in a similar debacle. Meanwhile, the Lightning aren’t going to make a trade to simply get rid of Howard.
