2026 Hurricanes Off Season Thread

Sardarian is 6’2”. 180+ lbs, and went for better than a point per game for Mich Tech for the last two years … worth a couple of phone calls. Same with Lucius, I’d guess. Carolina still needs minor pros.
 
And I’m guessing Tulsky’s vacation is over :)

Maybe he can get busy putting the Nikishin re-signing saga to bed now.
 
Yeah, supposedly all that drops at 10am. Presuming everything works this time. We’ll see. I’m just trying to nab two seats for the home opener since my kids will be in town
 
And at 10AM, whole system locks up and who knows what will actually be possible. I'm stuck spinning on the main page unable to do anything. :mad::mad:

(I did finally get added to the line, but there won't be anything left for the opener by the time I get to 'shop', because you just KNOW that there are yahoos out there who will scoop up the full 8 ticket limit mostly to resell them). I only am looking for ONE ticket to the opener.

I got it done, but it’s tricky.

You have to log into your ticket manager, open details screen for the specific game that you want and then click the option to buy additional tickets. You can’t just hit the buy tickets button in the top banner. And yeah, the prices were about 75% above face value … in my section at least. They have that dumb dynamic pricing enabled so everyone’s journey will be their own.

My tix loaded right at 10am and then glitched out for about 5-6 minutes before re-appearing. Honestly? Better than expected. I figured this would take a couple of hours.
 
Don't forget to do something with your 'vouchers' before there are no tickets to exchange them for. They claim that EVERY ticket plan seat will have a voucher to exchange for a Tier 3/4 game ("compensation for the missed home game for the Finland games"). I suspect there will not be anywhere near enough available seats to cover all of the vouchers.

If someone actually successfully exchanges those voucher for tickets please let me know. I select them for exchange, pick a same price point game, but then it still wants me to pay for the tickets (not applying the voucher values).

Voucher amount doesn't appear to be being applied, I'm to the final "pay now" click supposedly for the difference in price, but it wants me to pay the whole thing.. I've fired off email to my rep, but anyone else complete the voucher work successfully?
 
Nope, I'm seeing the same thing with the vouchers. Regular exchange of actual tickets is working correctly, it's just the voucher exchange that is messed up at the moment.

i was able to secure the one extra ticket I needed for the opener. Ouch on the price but how often do you get to see a banner raised?

I couldn’t join until about 10:25 and was 899 in line. I needed 2 tickets to the 12/26 and 12/28 games and got them just before 11. I still have to exchange the preseason game and deal with the voucher.

I also don’t see parking passes in account manager…

Same. They’re definitely on my invoice though … lol. I assume it’s going to be like last year when they made a determination of a date when construction would impact the preferred parking and shut it down from there. Of course, that got put off and may well get put off again. Who knows?

No, seriously … who knows? I haven’t even been on that side of town since Game 5 against Vegas. Is anything at all going on outside the building itself?
 
And I’m having the same experience as everyone else. I forgot about the voucher thing, and that’s still not working at all. I was able to exchange my two tix from the pre season game without incident however. I figure they’ll send out an email eventually, given that the complaints must be piling up at this point.
 
Vouchers still not working correctly.

Regarding the discussion we had about the seats going in where the corners are at the North side of the arena, the STM interactive maps show this:

Which as JB surmised, indicates that these seats will be some sort of removable metal floored seats (which I would not want to have as my seats).

Yeah, those are going to be awkward. Hard to get to, expensive and uncomfortable. Plus, the view from there kind of sucks when the puck isn’t directly in front of you.

I had seats behind the bent glass once. Once. I may as well have been tripping on mushrooms the whole game.
 
I spoke to my rep. For the vouchers, if you‘re on a payment plan, you won’t see the full value of the voucher when you check out. Click on the option to apply to your plan and it will show $0 due.
