I don't like Kadri contract length .. The boys will be happy no one was moved and should be playing with a mission now ..

I won't lose any sleep over any lack of trades today. The Habs are a young, up-and-coming team but they are not 1-2 moves away from the Cup. If the asking prices were too high, good for HuGo not to force anything.

If they did acquire Kadri it would be for Laine and futures. I’m not overly concerned about the contract length as Kadri is one of those players that still plays well at his age.

That said, I don’t think it happened.

Acquiring new players does not necessarily improve a club. Time and time again we’ve seen a club that plays well regress with new players.

Why? I don't want him making a trade just to make a trade.. Thomas would be nice but at what cost .

Ya. I'd rather save assets for Thomas or another top C in the summer than waste picks on all these 4th line slugs that got traded
