That’s why it’s such a sellers market w exorbitant acquisition costs + skyrocketing cap as every owner knows there’s a brink truck coming in w expansion ca$h = no tanking teams = every GM has lots of pressure to make their teams competitive IMMEDIATELY
 
The best UFAs usually sign with their teams. This year though is special.

We are also entering a timeline where players will take their own fate into their hands prior to UFA and likely go to UFA as opposed to signing early.

its simply bad regimes paying stupid prices for non impact players

There is no immediate compete now if your build improperly or force things , teams never learn .
