Agreed... I'd rather use the extra millions for a legit upgrade. I want someone we know is capable of play 2C.
If the price is reasonable, and I know that's a massive IF... I really think Boone Jenner is our best option. He's a big, physical center. As 2C he should easily put up a 50 point pace, health is obviously a concern with him. No cost to acquire, so it's just the contract. The opportunity to play for a team just opening their window with young uber talented just like Demidov and Zharovsky has to be attractive.
I know a lot of people here won't agree but I'd do 4 x $6m for him if that's what it took.
