Regarding our goaltending, one thing I’ve been wondering about in retrospect—why was Hildeby the guy that dressed as our backup last night after Stolarz left the game?

The Marlies were eliminated last week & Murray’s already with the team. Why wouldn’t it have been him?

Seems like a complete no brainer that he’s the guy that they should turn to as our new second goalie going forward. Even aside from his playoff experience, his AHL numbers this year blow Hildeby & Akhtyamov’s out of the water.

What's the NHL contract of each? Likely a money thing.

It truly sucks. The team dynamic with Stolarz tending the pipes seemed very good in general. Not sure the players are going to play with the same confidence they do with Woll in net? Either way, I guess its an inevitability that Woll should get in a few games....just wish it was at our bidding as opposed to Bennetts maraudery.

the contact was avoidable. he chose not to avoid it. and he has a track record of deliberate headshots, too

Didn't pipe in last night, but the "incidental contact" included him literally driving his elbow, and turning his torso to "finish" the hit.

The only thing "incidental" about it, was that it was another dirty play from Bennett.

Also with Tkachuk and Barkov not likely 100%, need to finish every check on those guys, every opportunity. Tkachuk 100% avoiding hard contact right now.
