My leafs big wish. You think the Kings would do a sign and trade with the leafs in a year to get McDavid and his 40 points in 19 playoff games out of the division? Sign him to seven years and retain 5 million and send him to our team please 😂.

As I think about it, something the leafs should investigate vs waiting for the deadline to ask teams to absorb cap for short term deals we want to do in the offseason. I don’t think a rule against it? Though zeke prob would know if it’s against the system.

I'm struggling to see why zeke can't see the difference between those 3 and the tanev hit. nothing about the hit on tanev was borderline. It was a clear hit from behind.

The homberg hit was, as you noted, more of a riding into the boards and less a hit. its what Gaudette should have done to Matthews to avoid the penalty he took later in the game fwiw
