90's wasn't that different, we just had a few equipment improvements (skates definitely got better from the Super Tack's onwards, easton aluminum's were great if you were strong enough to make them flex a bit compared to the wood and fibre-comps) but the style of play was pretty fucking similar. A lot of skating and hacking.

Since the trade he’s scored 150 g vs Kerfoot 64.
Scored as many goals in his first playoffs with Colorado as Kerfoot had in his first season with the leafs.
Maybe not niedermayer/Lou go pick trades bad but this one’s right up there.

Way worse. It’s like Damphousse for the corpses of Fuhr and Anderson (and Chief) or Courtnall for Kordic, or Steen for Stemniak.
Front line home grown talent given up for nothing, for no reason.
