Contrary to what you believe, Edmonton isn't a post-apocalyptic hell hole (aside from the provincial government) and McDavid is a secular god out here. Plenty of former Oilers from the glory days still live around here.

But again, if he ever leaves (which is highly unlikely) he will move to a no tax US sunbelt city. He is never coming to play for the Leafs.
