Around the League 2019-2025 Edition

That's very good news. I was totally scared of us paying $4+ mil for an undersized 3rd line winger.

Brad is impressing me. He could have easily wasted his capsace already.

He seems to be aware that there is likely to be better value on the trade market as teams look to unencumber themselves from some contracts that aren't working out, or that a previous administration signed, rather than firing money at a weak UFA class.

Good for Marner, he's been the whipping boy for a long time. Everytime someone mentionned changing the core 4 he was the guy to trade.

Now, you can have the ultimate fuck you by winning the cup next year.

Any ideas?

Have to find someone that values Robertson, which is gonna be challenging. Not many trade chips left and no one is under the gun with the cap that would need to dump a top six winger.

My guess is this is an in season trade to fill that gap. Hope Matthews can be like Sundin and carry a first line.

Which team needs a stay at home rhd? Carlo is their best trade chip. These guys are always in demand. I expect they'll be able to find takers, just a matter of what they can get in return.

Carlo to Calgary for Naz makes sense, toss in kampf and we take on a little.over a mil in cap space.

We need a PMD and Erik karlsson still put up 50+ pts the last 2 years. If you can get pit to eat part of his deal you can add him in.

unfortunately Naz has become pretty well liked in calgary, and they're well under the cap. Naz' contract isn't a huge anchor on them. They might even see him as a valuable vet anchor for a rebuild.

Then again, they have Backlund as the vet leader center presence for the rebuild, and have at least Frost that they want to be growing into a C, so maybe moving Kadri at age 34 is still something they want to do.

tough to know what calgary is trying to do at the moment. They were a bubble team last year.

Andersson has apparently indicated that he will only extend in Vegas. But he's pretty likely to be gone this summer.
