Around the League 2019-2026 Edition

I think everyone here is well aware that if the Leafs flamed out of any playoff series like the Habs just did, in such a decisively (record-setting) pathetic whimper, there would be a steady stream of "reporting" on it through the summer and right into the start of next season.

Both the Leafs and, to a lesser extent, the Habs have a following that specifically wants them to lose.

The habs finished higher in the standings, and won 8 more playoff games than they did the previous season.
How is that not an improvement?

There will be no chirping from me.

We can point to the coach or the fatigue all we want. The Carolina roster is magnitudes better than Montreal's roster. The beauty of the lopsided loss is that habs fans moved quickly through Shock and Denial before the series even ended and have now moved immediately to Anger today.
 
Which Habs fans are those? I was angry last series, right now I’m in wait and see mode. MSL made zero adjustments, I want to hear what Hughes has to say and see what he does.

Habs have a bright future but were greatly exposed when rolling only 3 lines. You’re not beating elite teams without rolling 4 lines every game.

Also, they need to place magnets in the pucks that go to the metal on the nets. Tom Brady that shit.
