If Reddit is any indication whatsoever, the tide seems to be turning a bit on which party, between Mitch/Vegas and Leaf fans, is the one coming off looking bad in this situation to the wider hockey world.

I honestly can’t even think of a situation in recent history where a player and team about to embark on a championship series were this preoccupied with a player’s former team—that isn’t even involved in these playoffs at all.

Almost any other player in a similar situation, if asked about it, would give you some variation of “I’m happy where I am now and focused on winning a Cup”.

Sometimes it takes two idiots for a relationship to be toxic and not just one. Mitch is definitely a toxic twit regardless of how this series goes.

We didn't even have the right to have a Leafs fan like Joe Bowen call our games. We had to have Nucks fans and former Oilers.

Outrageous, honestly. It's never been this bad.

But that must mean it's about to get very good. Always darkest before the dawn.
