I'm not sure what it is... but it's definitely not love for your team.I'll never understand those people, and that's weird considering how much of a hater I am at heart. I want everyone else to lose every game. I want every non Leaf in the league (who isn't a beloved ex Leaf I wish we still had) to always have the yips every game of their lives.
and even I couldn't fucking imagine wasting a jersey on hating another team. That's not hating, that's some sort of weird envy.
It's funny that Buffalo is whining about it. Carrick gives Xhekaj 3 rabbit punches in the head... what does he expect? Not to get punched in the face by a guy that loves to punch faces??"Wifi" gets a little rowdy sometimes, huh?

I actually don't even get any sort of joy from the Bruins or Leafs losing. Maybe a little relief, but it's a quick "phew" and then move on. Like the Bruins being eliminated if the Habs aren't in the playoffs would give me less enjoyment than a single regular season Habs goal.
That's a great description of it, actually. I feel exactly the same way, no matter how much I might want a team to lose.
Even seeing my least favourite team losing in OT in game 7 of the Cup finals wouldn't compare to the feeling I'd get from the Leafs scoring a single big goal, or winning a single big game.
Stick around, kid. You'll be fine. It’s a weird time in my life as I get older. Coming up on 40 and I’m tempted to buy a McKenna jersey. The kid is 17. Weird getting old.
