Around the League 2019-2026 Edition

I mean look just by draft pick, and the picks are turning out well for where they were picked, last 5 years

1 #28 Cowan (20)
1 #31 Danford (19)
2 #38 Minten (21)
2 #57 Knies (23)
2 #64 Koblar (18)
4 #106 Akhtyamov (24)
4 #120 Johansson (19)
4 #122 Hildeby (24)
5 #135 Grebenkin (22)
5 #151 Holinka (20)
6 #185 Chadwick (20)

and even the 3 years before that:

1 #15 Amirov :(
1 #29 Sandin (25)
2 #52 Durzi (27)
2 #53 Robertson (24)
4 #106 Akhtyamov (24)
4 #122 Villeneuve (23)
6 #156 Holmberg (25)

Given the lack of anything close to a high pick this is legit very good drafting, and even if we had full draft picks this would still be a good haul.

I don't know what people think other teams are getting from their draft picks that they think the leafs suck in this regard.

This need to diminish leafs prospects compared to other similar level draft picks for other teams really makes no sense at all.

Everyone gushing about systems like the Hawks don't seem to realize that they've legit got shit fuck all from their recent drafts outside of their top-5 picks. And even then we don't even know if a 2nd overall pick like Levshunov is even any good. They've received much less from their non-top-5 picks than the Leafs have.

like wheeler gushes about 21yr old 25th overall D Sam Rinzel as the hawks 3rd best prospect - has he ever put up any wow numbers anywhere?

21 yr old midget #44 Kantserov putting up good scoring numbers in the KHL - is he an elite prospect now?

is there any reason to give any hawks prospect the benefit of the doubt in relation to their draft slot given the hawks useless drafting history?
