Prospect lists are fun if you're tracking your own teams progress in developing young players into NHL'ers, but as a comparison tool between systems they're dumb imo. Cowan is 21 yrs old and most likely "graduated" from everyone's prospect list, but I would bet that every system ranked in anyone's top 10 would have "prospects" older than he is on it.

It's way more instructive imo to just look at a Under-whatever age list than a proper prospect list. Our U24 top 10 group is pretty, pretty good despite throwing so many picks down a well at gritty dogshit for so long. Probably a fair shot better than half of the teams with "prospect" groups ranked better than ours.

10) Mackenzie
 
Its purely production based model, so Bleicki, Mackenzie and Olsen don't rank high. They jumped up a lot.

Gudmunson: 19%, 57%
Fedoseyev: 19%, 57%
Williams: 10%, 49%
