Around The League - 2025 Offseason

he should pull a James Harden and just dog it until he is traded. When Harden wants to be traded, he just walks up to half court and starts launching threes from there until management trades him.

That being said, his NMC kicks in next season so there might be an incentive there.
At the draft is when Ottawa gets the moon in return if they want to move him

The acquiring team doesnt have to honour his trade clause for the next 3 years if moved before July 1

At some point the Sens might need to change the core if its not working

Spoiler alert: it's not working.

My aunt used to live in Bloomfield and West Hartford. It was an idyllic New England town. Downtown was a bit sketchy and the further east you go...yeah.

Let's also bear in mind that Buffalo has a franchise and so does Detroit. I'd sooner live in Connecticut than either of those places.

I grew up 30 minutes east of Hartford. I'm a UCONN grad and was a Whalers season ticket holder for last 3 seasons. I'm on my 2nd stint in the Raleigh area and have lived here for a total of 17+ years now overall. Canes season ticket holder for 10 years.

It is MUCH better living in the NC Triangle area than it is living in CT from almost every perspective. I would never willingly move back to CT and the NHL would never go back there.

I agree NHL would never come back to CT.

FYI, town has done an impressive job developing West Hartford Center - lots of influx from NYC & Boston during pandemic
