Bingo. They're called rig pigs because "working the chains" is the dirtiest and shittiest job on the patch. You don't have to be an inbred moron to do that job but it definitely helps.

Provided they manage not to lose any fingers, the biggest cause of rig pigs losing their jobs is failing their company mandated drug tests. Meth is huge on the patch because they work 12 hour shifts, 7 days (or nights) a week for 2 weeks straight.
