Around The League - 2025 Playoffs

I like the way the Oilers are playing tonight, with malice forethought like the fame is meant to be played. They're running Hill every chance they get. No fucks given. And they are hitting everything hard.

It's a shame that Skinner is going to find a way to blow it.

The thing I like most about the Oilers is that, for whatever reason, the gang on the Leafs board really hate it when they win. You could sense the tightened sphincter last year when the Oilers went to the final.

But tonight the Oilers are doing to Hill what we should have done ti Thompson: get in his kitchen and fuck with his head. We need more assholes who don't give a fuck on this team. Guys who will run over an opposing goalie just to piss them off.

I know a lot of people who work (or have worked) the rigs. They're all just normal, blue-collar guys and gals. I'm sure, like any job there are plenty of people that end up in bad places, but the vast majority are just regular people.... "rig pig" is a pretty gross term to use for an entire profession just because you think you're above them.

I'd pay good money to see you call any one of my buddies a rig pig to their face.

Trust me, he believes he's above everyone and that he only makes less than many in oil patch because his bosses have been greedy pigs.

Yup I know several who work for 6- 8 months make a shit ton on money then go back home and go back .

The hours are crazy
 
I have family who do that work. They vote CPC.

They matter.

They would welcome you or anyone into their home for dinner.

None have a university degree and they are all smart.

They have different points of view that we have.


And they are not fascists.
