Actually at this point, he'd be the only reason to want Carloina to win. He was just a pawn in a stupid game.

Man....Vegas will always be in contention every few years.....to be able to get stars to want to go play there is already 95% of the work done for any GM. It's also an easy sell for wives/families....

Lots of people like living in Henderson.

It’s not all about place advantage.

Part of it is an aggressive team building mindset — Vegas keeps adding talent and don’t worry about future draft picks and cap space

Carolina is not a desirable place but they have the same mentality so even when a Rantanen spurned them, they quickly pivoted that asset into Stankoven, K’Andre Miller and Ehlers, all crucial pieces to their cup run

You're thinking about Vegas the city (strip, casinos)....but most Vegas athletes, entertainers, people with wealth, all live in suburban communities that offer top end amenities for families (great schools for examples)

There's a reason that Vegas is popular amongst hockey players and their families (other than no-state tax)
