Buffalo Bills Thread

Habsy, we also blew games earlier in the season that would have gotten into the playoffs too. San Diego game, Kansas City game, Houston game. Those games we should have won and there is our season in a nutshell, yes the Oakland game we also blew but there were a few other games we should have won before that game and it shouldn't have came down to just the Oakland game.

Well with Doug Marrone opting out of his contract the Bills are in need of another coach, heard the Bill Cowher was here in Orchard Park but will he really want to come back and to Buffalo of all places. We have a talented defense but no way in hell he comes here. Another rumor is Frank Reich, I don't know about that, he only has 1 year of coordinator experience and Rivers kind of regress from last year. The saga of head coaching in Buffalo continues. Happy New Years by the way.
 
Have to get this thread started back up again.

What do you guys think of the Bills off-season so far? Rex Ryan, Lesean McCoy, Charles Clay, Percy Harvin, Richie Incoginto all in. Bring in Matt Cassel to compete with EJ. Still lots of questions regarding the QB position.

IMO, if we had a decent QB, we would be in the playoffs. The fact that we have EJ and Cassel worries me and restricts this team from any progress.
 
I like some of the moves but never liked Ryan. The Bills need a QB. As a Seminoles fan I knew Manuel wasn't going to be it and was pissed when the bills drafted him.
 
I'm happy we got Ryan, I mean the other coaching candidates out there did not impress me at all. So far he has been embraced by the community positively. I do love his attitude and swagger however as a Bills fan we've been disappointed before many times. It'll be interesting to see what he does.

It all goes down to QB. EJ sucks, its plain and simple. He's not an NFL quarterback. Matt Cassel is not good either. This year's draft class for QB is weak. There's no one in the second round I would take (Petty, Hundley, Grayson, etc). With that being said, I do not see us making the playoffs next year based on QB.
 
QB is of course the issue. This is a championship contender at every position but QB. I just dont know how they get one
 
They went 9-7 last year and literally gave away two games. Should have been 11-5. I think they can do 10-6. QB is the issue of course and no help from the draft. Marone was pissed that they traded away this years first to move up and get Sammy. He thought Odell Beckham Jr. was just as good and the Bills should have taken him and kept their pick. It was the beginning of the end for Doug.
 
It's open competition and for all we know EJ Manuel could win the job. I think Cassel will win it but you just never know. Let's go Buffalo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Cassel, Manuel, or Taylor for the QB position? I think Cassel will still win the competition. I am still very excited about the Bills this season! LET'S GO BUFFALO!
 
I like the Taylor move because he is refreshing! I really like what I seen in preseason (I know preseason doesn't mean jack shit). Anywho the Bills are going to end there 15 year drought this year. They have a good run game, great defense if Taylor can give us average to above-average qb play we will be good.

I'm sadden to hear that Freddy Jackson was cut, he has been warrior sticking it though the tough times with the Bills. He will always be a Bill in the eyes of true Bills fans! Now he's in Seattle and I wish him the best because now he has a shot in win a Super Bowl and I will be cheering for him (unless of course the Bills make it to the Super Bowl but that's just nutty talk). GO BUFFALO!!!!
