This is really silly for me to continue and it affects me not at all, but anyone who would even consider NOT supporting the Canes because they didn't get the exact kind of acknowledgment they believed they deserved after getting FREE TICKETS. Ugh, just stop.

What exactly were the kids promised besides jumbotron recognition and free tickets? This is beyond silly! Plenty of groups get "recognized" at the games. If you miss it, which is apparently what happened to most of the group, well, that's tough! There's been a bunch of people on Facebook this AM complaining about this very thing, and how the kids got NO recognition. People just like to bitch and complain about things, that's my opinion. Were they all promised Olympia rides, intermission on ice game, opening puck drop ceremonies, or the chance to sing the anthem? Come on, quit bitching about it already!

This whole thread needs to be locked and let die. It's BEYOND ridiculous!

Silly to argue about this IMO. You either see it as a sloppy acknowledgement of something you value highly or you don't. We've got bigger fish to fry.

Good grief.....how big are youth hockey teams? 15-20 kids/families? So you've a set of people "representing" that team and the EC Eagles making the rounds of every Canes fan outlet including radio complaining about this? It's either hysterical or just shameful -- likely both.
