Fantasy Baseball Rules Changes & Deadlines

There have been discussions in various threads, thought it would be helpful to the teams that haven't checked in recently (and probably everyone else as well) to have a list all in one place. Hopefully Deckie has a moment to list any rule changes here. Also, let's get deadlines in place for keeper lists, the draft, etc.

Deckie, are there any outstanding fees from last season? List this year's price and deadline as well.

5 teams still haven't checked in, I am hoping they all return this season but we can start to consider replacement managers if 1 or 2 don't return. But hopefully they all check in shortly.
 
The Money$

Last year:

All entry fees from last year were paid. I am missing lifetime membership dues ($12) from the below:

Fitzgerald#11 - replaced by Metalleaf
maryac8500 - replaced by Killersweet

(subtract $59.95 premium fee from 2013 season)

Green Hornet: $350 (70%)
Hairnova: $100 (20%)
Leafman101: $50 (10%)

If anyone is wondering why I'm rounding down the payouts, it's because Paypal took about $12 off the top in fees...better to use interac money transfers if you can, no fees there.

**Update** GH, HN, and LM101 have been paid.

- Top 3 finish in the money ($350/$100/$50 split)

25 Man MLB Roster
C/1B/2B/SS/3B/LF/CF/RF/UTIL
5 SP / 5 RP
5 reserve spots

30 Man MiLB Man Roster (post draft 2014)
*Will expand by 5 yearly, subject to review*

Draft

5 round draft, with 5 team lottery. Remainder of draft reverse order of finish (non-serpentine)
Teams able to protect 20 MLBers and all eligible MiLBers on their MiLB roster
Maximum 3 unprotected players can be lost by a manager

Trade Deadline

The trading deadline is one week after the MLB non-waiver trade deadline (usually July 31st). For the 2014 season, that puts it on August 7th.

Hey Sid. I don't see it in the league email account or Paypal. Maybe it didn't go through? Did you Paypal or Email Money Transfer?

Also, do we have managers for all teams?
 
I claim dibs on Trout if we can't find one. Dibs, of course being a recognized legal precedent of unbreakable standing.

I'd rather mothball her team for the year than have to hand someone Mike Trout....that would be awful and not good for the league.

Can't believe you didn't say that the team would go into the draft... you could have got Trout with the first pick.

I'm sure someone will take the team though.

Also, I'm sure we'll get a manager, just gotta keep working on it.
 
Seriously though, yeah I agree that we'd be best to mothball the team for the year, or until we fill the role, and just give the owner of said team compensatory draft picks in next year's draft to make up for missing this year's draft if the role isn't filled prior to the draft.
 
We have a manager for MACS team. Working on getting him registered here and on Fantrax. His handle is killersweet, he's been in a few leagues with Axl, HP, Montana, and myself for a while. Good manager and a swell guy.

He's signed up on Fantrax and he said he registered for FI as well, so should see him around shortly.
